The Black, Rustic, White, and Blue notebooks have a gold layer underneath that will show when laser engraved. While the Dark Brown, Light Brown, White Marble, and Teal notebooks have a black layer underneath.

These are great, laser perfect on my F1. Please get more colors in! LLS Response: We do have about 6 more colors coming in. We always get a few samples of new colors to test ourselves before we move forward with large manufacturing runs to stock. Quality engraving is very important to us.
