Create your own custom patches, hat designs, apparel accents, and personalized projects with Lancaster Luxette™ Laser-Ready Leatherette Sheets. These premium leatherette sheets are designed for laser engraving and cutting and are available in three options to fit different applications.
Choose from No Foam, Foam, or Foam with Adhesive depending on the look and application you need.
No Foam
Our No Foam Laser-Ready Leatherette Sheets feature a thin, flexible leatherette without a thick foam backing. The thinner profile makes these sheets ideal for applications where flexibility and a low-profile finish are desired.
Great for:
• Hats and headwear
• Apparel
• Patches
• Small personalized projects
• Laser engraving and cutting
Dimensions: 12" × 24"
Thickness: 1mm
Foam
Our Foam Laser-Ready Leatherette Sheets feature a thicker foam backing that gives your finished project more dimension and structure. The added thickness makes these sheets especially popular for creating raised, premium-looking patches.
Great for:
• Hats and headwear
• Apparel
• Patches
• Bag and accessory personalization
• Projects where a thicker, more substantial look is desired
Dimensions: 12" × 24"
Thickness: 1.5mm
Foam with Adhesive
Our Foam with Adhesive Laser-Ready Leatherette Sheets combine the thicker foam backing with a pre-applied adhesive backing, making them an excellent option for creating patches that can be heat pressed directly onto hats, apparel, and other suitable materials.
The adhesive is already applied to the back of the sheet and must be heat pressed to properly bond.
Dimensions: 12" × 24"
Thickness: 1.5mm
Recommended Starting Settings for Heat Press Application
• Temperature: 320°F
• Time: 15–17 seconds
• Pressure: Medium to firm
• Bottom Platen: 270°F, if your heat press allows separate temperature control
Applying to Hats
1. Preheat the hat for 2–3 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
2. Position the engraved leatherette patch.
3. Press at 320°F for approximately 15 seconds using medium to firm pressure.
4. Open the press and allow the patch to cool.
5. Visually check the edges without pulling on the patch.
6. If the edges are not fully bonded, repress for an additional 5–10 seconds.
Tip: These are recommended starting settings. Heat presses and materials can vary, so always test before beginning a larger production run.
