Meet the Lancaster Laser Supply Team
Jeff - Owner
My name is Jeff Walker, and I’m currently 54 years old. I live in Mountville, Pennsylvania, with my wife Kelly and our two sons—Owen (25) and Evan (19). In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and bowling. On weekends, you might find me sipping bourbon or wine with friends and spending time in my warehouse, experimenting with my lasers.
I earned degrees in Finance and Management from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. In 2016, I felt the entrepreneurial itch and decided to start my own business. My wife jokingly called it a midlife crisis—she would’ve preferred I just buy a sports car—but ultimately, she supported me in leaving a stable, well-paying job to launch Lock Connection, an online e-commerce cabinet hardware company.
Like many startups, I began by stocking inventory in my garage. It wasn’t long before the business outgrew that space—and my wife wanted her garage back—so I moved into a warehouse. Over the next two years, we experienced rapid growth and expanded into our current 5000 sq foot facility.
So how did I get into the laser blank business?
In 2020, just before the pandemic hit, I wanted to create five custom tumblers as holiday gifts for my top clients. After struggling to find anyone willing to do such a small order, I decided to buy a 20W D1 Pro laser and make them myself. Soon after, friends and family started requesting custom items, too. Like many makers, I sourced blanks from Amazon, but I was often disappointed with the quality and consistency. That’s when Lancaster Laser Supply was formed.
Throughout 2021 and 2022, I worked with several overseas manufacturers to source blanks in larger quantities. It took time and lots of testing to find products that met my quality standards and were consistent. I refer to this early stage as "BA"—Before Anna.
When Anna joined the team in 2024, everything changed. She’s a powerhouse! With her help, we completed the website, added products, and took professional photos. Her energy allowed me to refocus on sourcing and qualifying even more great products. As of now, we have around 70 new items in development that we plan to roll out starting next month.
We’ve also been working on publishing the laser settings we use to engrave each item. Currently, we operate four lasers: the 20W D1 Pro, the F1, a 60W MOPA Fiber, and a 15W UV laser. Every product we carry is tested in-house using these machines to ensure quality, compatibility and consistency.

I’m Anna, the Marketing Coordinator here at Lancaster Laser Supply. I started working here in July, and it’s been amazing to see how much this business and our community has grown since then. I'm contining to learn more about the industry by attending different seminars and courses. I'm excited to be working in a small business environment and learning all that it takes to run a small business.
A little more about me: I live in South Central PA with my fiancé and our pup. In my free time, I love watching Netflix, cooking with my fiancé, and hanging out with our dog. I also enjoy traveling!
